Bargain books!

All these books....

and these too...

for £2.50! My charity shop bargains for this week. A couple of them retail out at over £15 each and two are brand new. Awesomely, knicker-wettingly bargaintastic :)

I am proud to feel smug and gleeful, and am EVEN considering leading guided charity shop tours in the local area, with stop-offs for cake and coffee to refuel. What a great business idea...

Sign me up for the tours but be aware of the fighting over items that will ensue in these tours, maybe its not such a good idea!!x

I have a few of those - great buys for £2.50!!!! I am sad to say our charity shops rarely charge under £1 for any book. Hmph.

Fabtabulous finds! Of the three charity shops in our town, two never seem to charge less than £2 per book and the other rarely charges more than 20p! You can guess which one I make a bee line for. xx

I know - some charity shops are HORRENDOUSLY over-priced aren't they? Some in nearby towns are staffed with 90-year-old relics named Mabel who think it's OK to price some smelly scabby shoes from Asda at twenty quid! I remember back in the day where everything was like 50p. Until eBay became popular. I might start a TV show 'Charity Shop Challenge' - find a bargain, in an hour, with £2 in your pocket. Think it'll catch on??!
