Almost halfway now...

My bump is steadily growing into a huge lump which feels like it's balancing right on the base of my spine - I feel so heavy! Especially in the night time, staggering around the bedroom minus my spectacles, bumping into the door of the bathroom for the tenth time. Apparently baby likes to use my bladder as a trampoline.

Still no sign of returning to work - it's been months now, but there is zero I can do about it :( We are lucky to be expecting another baby so we are extremely thankful.

Pixie  is still looking forward to her baby coming and how much she will be able to help with it. She has been so good lately, and so much fun to be with. She is full of, "When my baby comes, I will..." followed by lists of lovely things she and baby will do.

She has also taken to listening to folk music - The Houghton Weavers!!! She loves The Rambler and keeps pressing repeat on her CD player. They are a great northern band - I had the fun task of interviewing them for a magazine a few years back and they were so funny. She has asked to go and see them play!

A snuggle of cuteness

Pixie woke at about 07.00hrs this morning - faaaaaar too early for one tired Mummy. Turns out she just wanted a cuddle in Mummy's bed (Daddy had already departed for work - yay, more room for me!).

I said: "Sshhh. No talking, we'll just have a cuddle and go back to sleep!" in the hope that she would drop off.

She wedged herself right up against me and wrapped her arms around my neck, flippin' icy-cold feet pressed on my legs, the monkey.

After two rounds of 'When Santa Got Stuck up the Chimney' a wonderful snoring noise could be heard and I drifted back off, being cuddled and snuggled.

09.00hrs was a much better time to wake up, especially to a beautiful smile from a most beautiful little girl.
